Company Christmas party in Prague

For many companies, the Christmas party is the most important social event of the year, whether the team works in Prague or travels there for the occasion. It is a thank-you to the team, a chance to meet colleagues outside the office and often an evening for clients and partners too. To feel easy and relaxed, it needs a good venue, a well-planned programme and transport your guests can rely on.

When to start planning

December is one of the busiest months for company events in Prague. Private rooms in popular restaurants, historic halls and boats fill up early for December dates, so we recommend starting to plan in September and October. To begin, all you need is an approximate number of guests, two or three possible dates and an idea of what the evening should be like.

Where to hold the party

The choice of venue depends on the number of guests, the atmosphere you have in mind and whether you want a seated dinner or a more relaxed evening with a buffet and conversation.

• A private room in a restaurant: for smaller teams, with a festive menu agreed in advance and staff serving only your company.
• A historic venue: a hall in a palace or a historic building, or a vaulted cellar, for a larger party and an evening with live music.
• A boat on the Vltava: dinner on board with views of the illuminated embankments, Prague Castle and Charles Bridge.
• Christmas markets and dinner: a guided walk through the markets on Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square, followed by dinner at a restaurant nearby. Teams visiting Prague from abroad especially enjoy this option.

The evening's programme

We put the programme together to match the mood you want for the evening. It might be live music, a short speech from the management, a Christmas concert, a beer workshop or simply a good dinner without rushing. We agree the menu in advance and pass your guests' dietary requirements to the restaurant or caterer in writing.

Transport for your guests

We make sure your guests arrive on time and get back safely: a coach from the office or hotel to the venue, cars with drivers for the management or for guests staying at a hotel, and transport home or to the hotel at the end of the evening. When planning, we allow for the restrictions on coaches in the historic centre, so we choose drop-off and pick-up points in advance. For guests travelling from other cities or from abroad, we can also book a hotel for the night after the party.

How we work

Send us one or more possible dates, an approximate number of guests and your idea of the evening. We come back with two or three proposals for the venue and programme, together with an itemised quote. Once you confirm, we book all the suppliers and coordinate everything on site on the day of the party, so you can enjoy the evening with your team.
