A private car does the distances and waits close to each stop, the walking parts use the smoothest streets, and breaks come before you need them. For every venue on your route we check step-free entrances, lifts and seating, and we tell you honestly if something will not work, together with the best alternative.
What to expect in the historic centre
The Old Town and the Lesser Town are paved with cobblestones, and the streets up to Prague Castle are steep. The castle courtyards are largely level, and a car to the northern side avoids the climb. Some historic interiors, towers and cellars can only be reached by stairs. Travellers who use a wheelchair should tell us early, so that we can arrange a vehicle with a ramp or a lift where available.
