About this tour
If you have one day in Prague, or simply prefer to see the city without long walks between the sights, this is the most efficient way to do it. The car handles the hills and the distances; the guide handles the stories and the timing.
A route built around the city's geography
Prague sits on both banks of the Vltava. The castle district and the Lesser Town are on the left bank and uphill; the Old Town and the Jewish Quarter are on the right bank and flat. Starting at the top with the car and ending on the flat side means you see everything in a natural order, with the walking done downhill.
Lunch without the tourist trap
We reserve a table in advance at a place that serves proper Czech food, or at a café if you prefer something light. You pay the restaurant directly for what you order. Tell us about any diet or allergy and we pass it on.
Good to combine with
This tour works well on the first full day of a stay, followed by a free afternoon, or on a layover when you have a few hours in the city. We can also add an evening river cruise or a dinner reservation the same day.

How much walking is involved?
Short walks between the car and each sight, about 3 kilometres in total. We can reduce it further for seniors or guests with limited mobility.
Can we change the route?
Yes. Tell us what matters most and we adapt the plan, for example more time at the castle or a stop at Vyšehrad instead of Letná.
Is this suitable for a group?
Yes. For larger groups we use a van, a minibus or a coach and add guides so everyone can hear and ask questions.
