Smartwings starts direct Prague to Lisbon flights on 23 October 2026
Published

Smartwings starts nonstop flights between Václav Havel Airport Prague and Lisbon on Friday 23 October 2026. The Czech airline flies the route three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a Boeing 737-800. Lisbon becomes Smartwings' fourth destination in Portugal from Prague, alongside Porto, Funchal on Madeira and Ponta Delgada in the Azores, as part of its winter 2026/27 network expansion.
Until now, travellers flying directly between Prague and Lisbon have relied on TAP Air Portugal. The new Smartwings service gives visitors another nonstop option between the two capitals this winter.
What it means for your trip
- A new nonstop option to Portugal. From 23 October 2026, you no longer need a connection to fly directly between Prague and Lisbon.
- Three flights a week. Smartwings operates the route on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, so plan your dates around these days.
- The aircraft is a Boeing 737-800, Smartwings' standard narrow-body jet on its European routes.
- This is a winter-season route. It runs through the 2026/27 winter flight schedule, so check Smartwings' own site for exact dates before booking a return in spring.
- Arriving in Prague? If we arrange your airport transfer, your driver tracks your flight and waits for you in the arrivals hall, whichever day you land.
For your time in the city, our Prague in a day tour is a comfortable way to see the main sights with a private car and guide between flights.
