About this tour
Prague has been collecting legends for a thousand years. Some explain real events, some warn children away from dark lanes, and a few have become the city's trademarks, like the Golem and the Astronomical Clock. After dark, with the crowds gone and the lamps lit, they are much easier to believe.
Stories with history behind them
A good legend walk is also a history walk. The 27 crosses on the Old Town Square mark a real execution after the Battle of White Mountain. Rudolf II really did invite alchemists and astronomers to his court. Rabbi Loew was a real scholar whose grave is still visited today. Your licensed guide tells the legend first and then what we actually know, so the evening is fun and you learn something too.
Because the walk is private, the tone fits your group. Families get the adventure without the fright, couples get a romantic evening that ends on Charles Bridge, and groups of friends can finish at a traditional pub.
When to go
The walk works all year. In summer it starts late, when the evening is warm and the square is lively. In winter it can start soon after 17:00, and the Old Town is at its most atmospheric in the cold and the fog.

Is the ghost walk suitable for children?
Yes. The legends are told as stories, not as a horror show, and the guide adapts them to the ages in your group.
What time does the walk start?
After dark. In summer that means around 21:00, in winter the walk can start from about 17:00. We suggest the right time when you send your dates.
Do we go inside the synagogues?
No. The synagogues are closed in the evening, so the stories are told outside. Our Jewish Quarter tour visits the synagogues during the day.
Can we end the evening with dinner?
Yes. We can reserve a table close to where the walk ends, in the Old Town or across the bridge in the Lesser Town.
