Mezipatra Queer Film Festival 2026 in Prague: 5 to 12 November

Published

Mezipatra, the Czech Republic's queer film festival, holds its 27th edition in Prague from Thursday 5 to Thursday 12 November 2026, according to the festival's own site. The programme then moves to Brno from 13 to 20 November 2026. Mezipatra is run by the non-profit organisations Mezipatra and STUD Brno and shows Czech and international feature films, documentaries and shorts with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer themes, judged in an international competition. Prague City Tourism lists the Prague programme as spread across several venues in the city.

What it means for your trip

  • Plan around the dates. The Prague programme runs for eight days, from 5 to 12 November 2026, before the festival continues in Brno.
  • Screenings are spread across Prague, so check the venue and time of each film before you plan your evening.
  • Tickets and the full programme are published on the festival's own site, mezipatra.cz.
  • If you are combining the festival with sightseeing, build it around your other plans rather than the other way round, since screening times vary by day and venue.

If you would like help fitting an evening at the festival around the rest of your Prague itinerary, our trip planning service can take your dates and preferences into account.
